Message from the Principal

Dear Brookdale Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the new principal of Brookdale Elementary. I am excited to join this incredible school community and to partner with our students, families, staff, and community as we continue building a school where every child is known, valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

At Brookdale, we believe that Everyone belongs at Brookdale! Belonging means that every student feels welcomed, safe, and connected; every family knows their voice matters; and every staff member is part of a team committed to helping children thrive. We know that strong relationships are at the heart of a successful school, and I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff throughout the year.

This school year, our school-wide expectations will provide the foundation for how we care for ourselves, one another, and our school community.  Brookdale’s 3 B's:

We make choices that keep ourselves and others safe and ready to learn.

We use caring words and actions and look for ways to help others feel that they belong.

We listen, value differences, care for our school, and treat others with dignity.

I believe that the best schools are built through partnership. Families know their children best, and our staff bring tremendous expertise, dedication, and care to their work each day. When we work together, communicate openly, celebrate successes, and learn from challenges, our students benefit. I encourage you to stay connected, attend school events, ask questions, share ideas, and reach out whenever your family needs support.

As we begin this new school year, I want every student to know: You belong here. You matter here. You are capable of great things. My commitment is to work alongside our entire Brookdale community to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
